I am really enjoying the opportunity to work with such wonderful collections

I joined the RHS as Deputy Head of Libraries, having spent the previous ten years working in an academic library. I am really enjoying the opportunity to work with such wonderful collections and more especially with people who are genuinely interested in them and their content – a far cry from today’s undergraduates!  I’m also delighted to be based at Wisley and have the opportunity to improve my rather limited gardening knowledge and skills; it may make a gardener of me yet!
