Developed in the late 18th century as the pleasure grounds and kitchen garden by the Fitzwilliams of Wentworth Woodhouse, the gardens fell into disrepair after the Second World War. They have now been substantially restored with funding from the family-owned garden centre. Features include a maze.

The formal Italian Garden and its canal pond have been completely renovated, alongside the planting of various topiary and herbaceous borders.
