EVENT BEING OPENED BY MATTHEW WILSON. Essex Plant Heritage will be at Hyde Hall with their annual Autumn Fair during the weekend. With around 30 local nurseries in attendance, there will be a whole variety of plants available to buy and talks throughout the day. There will be a range of talks trhoughout the two days - the schedule is below. Saturday 17 September. 11am - Matthew Wilson - Plant Fair Opening 1pm - Anne Barnard - "Aliums - so many to choose from" 1.30pm - Hyde Hall Gardener's Walk and Talk - "What's that plant?" 3.0pm - Alexander Hunt - "Potash Farm - we are crackers about nuts" Sunday 18 September. 11am - Carole Adams - "Bees - from flowers to the honeypot - how honey gets there" 1pm - David Sisley - "Succeeding with Japanese Maples". 1.30pm - Hyde Hall Gardener's Walk and Talk - "What's that plant". 3.0pm - Mark Haslett - "Water Irises"

Additional info

Please wear suitable footwear as event will be on grass. Normal Garden Admission applies. If you are not an RHS member you will need to pay at the Admissions desk to gain entry to the Plant Fair and Garden.
