Festival of Flavours at RHS Gardens

Celebrate growing and cooking fruit and veg at the RHS food festival

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our annual RHS Festival of Flavours. This event  brings together growers and chefs, communities and schools, families, foodies and gardeners of all ages and backgrounds.

Few things connect people quite like growing plants and cooking, so each autumn we celebrate both, with our world food bonanza at our gardens.

This year's RHS food festival took place from 8 September 2023 at the RHS Gardens on the following dates, click the links below to find out what each RHS Garden had to offer:

Next year's dates will be announced in 2024.

Recipes from around the world

Top chefs cooked up sumptuous dishes, from Chinese and Indian through to British and Italian, made with ingredients picked fresh from the gardens at live demonstrations, while visitors had the chance to learn from RHS experts, browse global food stalls, take tours of the edible gardens and participate in family cooking workshops, plus much more.

A wide variety of delicious ingredients, which can be grown at home, from traditional autumn fare like kale and turnips to more unusual varieties such as cucamelons, chicories and kohlrabi, were showcased throughout the Festival, along with mouth-watering recipes from across the globe.

We shared inspiration online and on social media in the lead up to our Festival of Flavours event, so that you could get involved at home, in your community or at school.
