This one day course is aimed at those relatively new to photography or those wanting to know how to take more control over their cameras. Steve, an award-winning photographer and experienced tutor, will cover the basics of photography e.g. controlling exposure (apertures, shutter speeds and understanding the relationship between the two), depth of field made simple, setting ISO, understanding file formats (JPEGs & RAW) and an introduction to composition. The day will include a classroom-based session and the opportunity to put your new skills into practice in the gardens.

Additional info

Tea and coffee are included, but please bring your own lunch. Students will need to bring their own camera and instruction booklet.
