Hop on down for a great garden adventure with The Rhyming Rabbit this Easter. Keep your eyes peeled for the Rhyming Rabbit on a hop about the garden trail and enjoy craft activities based on the picture book by Julia Donaldson and Lydia Monks and brought to you in association with Macmillan Children’s Books. Activities vary daily. Normal garden admission applies.

Harlow Carr Easter Activity schedule
Children can get their creative juices flowing and create rhymes for our Rhyming Tree, enjoy storytelling and rhymes with the Garden Detectives, make rabbit hand puppets and watch birds-of-prey demonstrations. Over the Easter weekend, there's a chance to meet the Easter Bunny himself as well as real-life versions of some of the book’s best-loved animals. The Rhyming Rabbit Hop About Trail starts on 30 March.

Daily, 30 March to 29 April:

The Rhyming Rabbit Hop About Trail

Hop about the garden on a daily garden trail in search of animals from the picture book by Julia Donaldson and Lydia Monks.

Hunt the Golden Carrot Competition
A golden carrot has been hidden in the garden. Use clues to guess its whereabouts and post your entries in the competition post box for the chance to win a giant Centenary Imperial Easter Egg from Bettys worth almost £500 – that’s 5.8kg of Grand Cru Swiss Chocolate.
