Join us at RHS Garden Harlow Carr for a Children’s Gardening Weekend (Saturday 25 & Sunday 26 May) where there will be a host of activities to keep young visitors to the garden entertained including a garden trail that takes places throughout the garden.
 
Garden Detective's performances:
See the garden detectives and friends on stage throughout the day on the main lawn.
 
In the activities marquee from 11am–4pm:
  • Plant up a tomato plant to take home with Plant Heritage
  • Learn all about orchids and hunt the garden for examples with the Harrogate Orchid Society
  • Discover all there is to know about butterflies and how to make your garden butterfly friendly with Butterfly Conservation
  • Pot up some sweet pea seeds to take home and enjoy with the National Sweet Pea Society
  • Join the Harrogate and Ripon Beekeepers Association for beekeeping demonstrations at the apiary and crafts including candle making
  • Create your own bird feeder to take home and encourage birds to your garden
