Celebrate the Mothers’ Day weekend at the garden with a weekend centred on the benefits of our surroundings. On Saturday, join us and make your mum a scented lavender bag as a Mothers’ Day gift and then on Mothers’ Day bring your Mum for a walk in the garden, learn about aromatherapy and even enjoy a hand massage. As an extra special treat you could also visit the Bettys Café Tearooms or pick up a Bettys treat from the teahouse.

Aromatherapy and the link with plants, trees, flowers and fruits
 
This Mothers’ Day we’ll be joined by Local ITEC qualified Aromatherapists Ruth Eagin and Janet Hill who will be available to talk about the therapeutic benefits of Aromatherapy and how it links with plants, trees, flowers and fruits.  You can learn about the therapeutic properties of essential oils and their benefits on the body, mind and how it can benefit overall health and well being.
 
They will also be offering hand and arm massages to help you relax and unwind on Mother’s day in the beautiful setting of Harlow Carr Gardens in addition to running information sessions with hand-outs and recommendations for individual cases.
