Celebrate the sights, sounds and tastes of the season with a weekend that combines food, drink and gardening. This wonderful festival at RHS Garden Hyde Hall showcases a mouth-watering array of regional produce. There's also plot-2-plate harvesting, cookery demonstrations and for the daring among you, chilli pepper tasting.

This event also incorporates activities from the RHS Harvest Festival Show:
  • Fruit & Vegetable Competition: more than 160 classes of fruit and vegetable, from apples to tomatoes
  • Giant Pumpkin Competition: come and see the live weigh-in on Saturday starting at 12noon
  • Autumn Ornamental Plant Competition: late perennials and autumn colour, including ornamental fruits, conifers and bulbs
  • Other activities: chillies to taste and buy from Sea Spring Seeds, advice from the Essex branch of the NVS.
