Celebrate trees with us this autumn. With wooden craft products, garden tours and tree planting advice and demonstrations, there’s a whole array of woodland inspiration to be discovered.

Talks will be taking place throughout the weekend where you can learn about which trees to choose for your garden; for bark interest, for birds, for colour, for flower and get your questions answered by the RHS team. Kids and adults alike can also learn more about the trees at Hyde Hall with our informative trails.

Hawthorn Heavy Horses are back here at Hyde Hall with a logging demonstration, Q & A and a chance to stroke the horses too! There will be plenty of demo’s including willow weaving, wood carving, pyography and furniture making, and you can get involved with a papermaking workshop. The local Bonsai Society will also be here with a display of their magical miniature trees.

Younger members of the family can make tree inspired crafts while mum and dad meet expert STIHL staff who will be giving in-depth product demonstrations of their Compact Cordless System, which includes a chainsaw, hedge trimmer, leaf blower and grass trimmer. STIHL will also be offering an exciting chainsaw carving demo.

Normal garden admission applies, members go free.
