Calling all otter spotters

Rosemoor's newest addition isn't a shrub or a tree....it's an otter!

Flora the otter
Artist Penny Silverthorne with FloraMeet Flora, Rosemoor's newest resident.

Created by artist Penny Silverthorne (pictured), she is one of 100 unique otters created as part of the Moor Otter Trail, a project of Dartmoor National Park. The trail runs from 1 June - 15 September 2017.

Flora has been decorated to look like part of the countryside, with wildflowers typical of the local area. Children especially will love noticing the many different flowers and special details.

Come and visit Flora by the Rosemoor lake, and don't forget to have your photo taken with her and share it on social media using #moorotters.

You can follow the otters on social media:

After you've visited Flora, why not see how many other otters you can spot throughout Dartmoor and surrounding towns? Find 20 or more otters for the chance to win fantastic prizes including holidays, luxury chocolates and more.
