Amanda Anderson is a West Midlands based mosaic maker who originally studied Fine Art at Liverpool’s John Moores University. She has over twenty five years of experience working on large public commissions and smaller pieces for sale and exhibition, and specialises in brightly coloured, quirky designs of birds and other creatures.
Spend two days creating a vibrant mosaic for your room wall, using brightly coloured stained glass, ceramic tiles, pottery pieces and millefiori. Choose from a fox, a bird or a circular base and learn how to cut the tesserae, construct and grout. The workshop is suitable for all abilities and tools, and materials are provided. If you would like to include some of your own china pieces in your design please bring them along.
