Tutor - Angeline de Meester Angeline is an award winning botanical artist and her work is included in international collections including the Dr Sherwood Gallery at Kew, The RHS Lindley Library and The Hunt Institute in America. She is a regular tutor at Capel Manor College in Regents Park and a member of the Society of Botanical Artists. Trained also as a jewellery designer her passion is for studying and portraying the structure and intricacies of botanical subjects in watercolour both for illustration and art purposes. Taking the Cottage Garden at Rosemoor as inspiration, students will be encouraged to choose a few of their favourite plants to combine into a small botanical watercolour. You will be shown how to select material and consider the needs of a small composition, they will be encouraged to produce accurate drawings and shown how to use these to create their final composition. A study page will follow in preparation for the final painting. There will be demonstrations and discussion of techniques and approach throughout the course.
