    Needle-felting

Needle-felting is a wonderful skill to learn and can be done almost anywhere. It requires very few tools. We will start the day by needle-felting a small practice piece, then move on to needle-felt a sculptural bear, building shape and adding colour with muted un-dyed wools, and with dyed merino.

Dinny describes her sculptures as being made with wool and a touch of humour, paired with vintage objects that give each piece a narrative. She has a degree in ceramics at Camberwell School of Art and Craft. In recent years she has focused on wool as her medium for sculpture, exhibiting in UK galleries and collaborating in a design for Anthropologie.

All materials and equipment provided. Lunch and refreshments included.

Tutor: Dinny Pocock
