Book Fair

Rosemoor’s Book Fair features a range of independent booksellers from across the South West. Gardening and horticultural books will feature amongst the interesting and unusual books for sale. There will also be several authors, local to this area, who will be happy to chat to visitors and sign copies of their books.
The event centrepiece will be ‘Once upon a Time’, three giant textile books which are the 4^th in a series of huge community knitting projects and follows on from ‘ Above and Below the Waves’, ‘The Gingerbread House’ and ‘The Giant Christmas Tree’, all of which have toured the country and parts of Europe. Textile artist, Alison Murray of All2Knit has coordinated all the projects with the help of her mother and a team of volunteer knitters and over 500 people from around the country contributing many of the lovely pieces that have helped make these giant textile books. Come along and get lost in a knitted world of myths and legends and watch out for Archibald, the nine foot dragon.
