Entry to RHS Hilltop – The Home of Gardening Science and its gardens – the Wellbeing Garden, World Food Garden and Wildlife Garden – is included as part of normal garden admission.

By shuttle bus

RHS Garden Wisley to Woking Station shuttle bus pilot scheme
We are pleased to offer our new 14 seater shuttle bus service operating between Woking Train Station and RHS Garden Wisley 7 days a week, available hourly 9am – 5pm from Woking to Wisley, and 9.30am – 5.30pm from Wisley to Woking.

To use the shuttle bus service, please pre-book a combined garden visit and shuttle bus ticket online.

By bike

Open air bike parking facilities are provided.

Cycle repair station

We have a cycle repair station located at the existing cycle hut at the edge of Car Park 3. Features of the station include a cycle repair stand with an integrated floor pump and heavy-duty tools, which provides a convenient facility for cyclists to carry out maintenance and repairs.

By train

The closest stations are West Byfleet (4 miles), Woking (6 miles) and Guildford (8 miles). There are no taxis on standby at West Byfleet. For times and tickets see the South Western Railway website. From Woking Station you can get our shuttle bus straight to the garden entrance.

By bus

You can catch the 715 Kingston to Guildford via RHS Garden Wisley, hourly, Monday–Saturday. Sundays and public holidays service run every 90 mins – with diversions. For more information visit the Stagecoach website.
Please note: The 715 bus stops along the pedestrian walkway of the A3. For buses travelling northbound, there is approximately a 15 minute walk to the main garden entrance. The bus stop on the southbound route is accessed via the pedestrian footbridge over the A3, approximately a 20 minute walk from the garden entrance, this route has limited access including steps and uneven surfaces.

By taxi

Local taxi firms ABCO and Network Cars offer fares to RHS Garden Wisley from Woking Train Station for £14 and from West Byfleet for £12 one way, please call 01483 888888 to book.

By car

RHS Garden Wisley lies between Cobham and Ripley in Surrey, off the main London to Portsmouth road (A3) south of Junction 10 of the M25. Follow the brown tourist flower signs on the A3 and M25 to the RHS Garden. Car parking is free.

We want to give as many people as possible the opportunity to enjoy Wisley. Smoking policy

During this hot weather, we ask that all visitors refrain from smoking in the gardens. Please use the signposted, designated areas only.

Drone usage

We are concerned that the use of drones may introduce risks of injury to our staff or visitors, damage to our property, plants or local wildlife, or breaches of data protection laws. Personal drone usage is therefore prohibited at RHS Gardens. Commercial drone usage is also prohibited, save where occasionally commercial drone operators with suitable training and licences from the Civil Aviation Authority are allowed by the RHS to operate drones in an RHS Garden only where express permission has been provided to the drone operator in writing by the Head of RHS Garden Wisley.

Dogs in the garden

For the safety of all our visitors only registered support dogs are allowed in the garden.

Garden toys

We are sorry but garden toys, such as scooters and balls, are not permitted in the garden.
