The nation’s biggest celebration of gardening returns for 2019 from 29 April to 5 May as we encourage everyone to get involved in grow-your-own. The theme for this year is Edible Britain, with the RHS calling on gardeners up and down the country to share their love of home-grown produce.

Head to RHS Garden Wisley for inspiration and insightful talks to celebrate National Gardening Week.

Wisley Garden Library Show and Tell: 29 April–3 May
Come along to a show and tell display in the Wisley Garden Library this National Gardening Week to discover how growing vegetables and fruit has changed through the years. A member of the libraries team will be on hand to explain the collection as well as show rarer items that aren’t usually on display. Visit the Garden Library during normal garden opening hours

A Tour of Edibles at RHS Garden Wisley: 29 April, 1pm–2pm
As part of National Gardening Week, the Edibles team at RHS Garden Wisley will be giving a tour of the fruit and vegetable gardens. Visitors will be guided by one of the expert team who works in these areas as they share insightful information about the collections at Wisley.
