    Slugs and Snails

Slugs and snails have been the gardener’s enemy for centuries but this display seeks to persuade gardeners to think again about these fascinating creatures. Based on research by RHS Science and Collections, this small display looks at what slugs and snails bring to our gardens and the work we are doing to gain a better understanding of sustainable ways to control our slimy friends. It also includes an appeal to gardeners to help us with our research.

This outdoor display includes beautiful images reproduced from RHS Lindley Collections. Due to the historic and fragile nature of the collection, original material will not be on display.
