We have combined these two powerful search tools into a single Find a Plant service searching over 250,000 plant records.
Virtually all of the features of the old searches are still available and in addition we have added several new features to create a more comprehensive and user friendly search experience.
When using this search

Genus Ribes can be deciduous or evergreen shrubs, sometimes spiny, with simple, usually palmately lobed leaves and small tubular or bell-shaped, solitary or racemose flowers borne in spring or summer, followed by juicy, sometimes edible berries
Details 'Red Lake' is a redcurrant for dessert or culinary use, to 2.5m in height. Flowers insignificant, pale green; fruit dark red in mid season, borne on long strigs
