Other common names
wood sorrel 'Ione Hecker'
Oxalis enneaphylla 'Ione Hecker'
Oxalis can be annuals or perennials, with fibrous, bulbous or rhizomatous rootstocks, palmately divided leaves and funnel-shaped or bowl-shaped flowers that mostly close in dull weather and at night
'Ione Hecker' is a clump-forming rhizomatous perennial to 8cm in height, with blue-grey, divided leaves and funnel-shaped, dark-veined, purple-violet flowers 3cm across
