We have combined these two powerful search tools into a single Find a Plant service searching over 250,000 plant records.
Virtually all of the features of the old searches are still available and in addition we have added several new features to create a more comprehensive and user friendly search experience.

Other common names
Cytisus can be deciduous or evergreen shrubs, ranging from prostrate to erect and almost tree-like, with small, simple or 3-parted leaves and pea-like flowers spring or summer
'Warminster' is a bushy small deciduous shrub with small, mostly simple leaves and pale creamy-yellow flowers in great abundance in late spring
Toxicity All parts, especially the seeds, may cause mild stomach upset if ingested

Best grown in well-drained, poor acid soils in full sun. Tolerant of lime but may become chlorotic on shallow chalk soils. Plant when young; brooms resent transplanting
Propagate by semi-ripe cuttings in late summer
