    AGM plants have been through a rigorous trial and assessment programme. They are:

    • Excellent for ordinary use in appropriate conditions
    • Available to buy
    • Of good constitution
    • Essentially stable in form & colour
    • Reasonably resistant to pests & diseases

If you grow a favourite dahlia why not enter the People’s Dahlia competition at the Wisley Flower Show? Winners will receive vouchers and other prizes, and all entries will have the chance to win the special Visitors’ Choice Award which is new for 2017.

To enter simply bring a cut stem of your dahlia to the National Dahlia Society marquee before 12noon on Saturday 9 or Sunday 10 September.  We will supply everything you need to enter and show your flower.

Part of the Wisley Flower Show, the NDS national show features more than 100 classes. See displays from local nurseries, buy plants and blooms, and enter your own dahlias in the People's Dahlia Competition.
