Choosing crocus by flowering season

You can almost have a crocus in bloom in any month of the year, but the majority flower in spring and a smaller group in autumn. As well as the timing of the display, it's also worth selecting crocus that like the conditions you can offer in your garden, which includes lawns for naturalising bulbs, cold frames or alpine houses, borders and containers.
