'Palm Springs' is a dwarf, bulbous plant, to 12cm in height, with erect, linear, mid-green leaves. The early spring flowers are royal-blue with a darker blue throat, speckled white and a bright yellow central band on the falls
I. danfordiae is a small, bulbous perennial growing to 10cm tall. In early spring, a single, yellow, scented flower is borne with tiny brown or green speckles on each fall. Narrow, four-sided leaves are short at flowering but then elongate reaching up to 30cm long
'Cantab' is a dwarf bulb, up to 15cm high, with slender leaves and flowers in late winter and early spring. The standards are a soft, pale blue and the falls deeper blue with white stripes around a yellow-orange blotch
'Sea Breeze' is bulbous perennial, to around 10cm in height, with green, erect, strap-like foliage and pale blue and cream flowers in early spring; the falls are cream with pale-blue speckling, a yellow throat and dark-yellow central band
'Pixie' produces dark violet-blue flowers with white and yellow markings
'George' is a dwarf, bulbous iris to 12cm in height in flower, with linear leaves and fragrant, deep violet-purple flowers 8cm across, marked with yellow in the falls, in early spring
'Blue Hill' is a bulbous perennial, to 12cm in height, with erect, green, strap-like leaves and violet-blue flowers in spring; the falls have a white speckled throat and a yellow central band
'Harmony' is a dwarf, bulbous plant, to 12cm in height, with erect, linear, mid-green leaves. The early spring flowers are royal-blue with a striped white throat and bright yellow central band on the falls. The crests have a slightly feathered edge, creating a softly-ruffled effect
'Katharine Hodgkin' is a dwarf bulbous iris to 12cm in height, with large pale blue flowers in late winter, the falls heavily veined with deeper blue and marked yellow at the base, and slender leaves elongating after flowering
'Sheila Ann Germaney' is a dwarf bulbous plant with pale blue flowers in late winter, the falls with a yellow midrib and darker grey-blue veining
