'Lady Elphinstone' is a bulbous perennial, to 12cm tall, with narrow, grey-green leaves and solitary, nodding, fragrant, double white flowers, the inner segments lightly-marked with greenish-yellow
'Jacquenetta' is a bulbous perennial with narrow, grey-green leaves, slightly folded at the margins and with a greyer central stripe. In late winter bears large, double flowers up to 2.5cm across. The inner petals are strongly-marked with green at the tips
'Cedric's Prolific' is a vigorous, bulbous perennial with broad, grey-green leaves 2.5cm across, and white flowers on stems up to 40cm tall. The inner petals have a large, green mark and the outer petals have fine green streaks at the tips
G. gracilis forms a clump of linear, twisted, grey-green elaves and scented, nodding white flowers 2.5cm long, the inner tepals each with two green marks; flowering in late winter and early spring
Sandersii Group are bulbous perennials, to 15cm tall, with narrow, grey-green leaves and solitary, single white flowers with a yellow ovary and inner markings. They are selections from a population of yellow snowdrops in Northumberland
'Straffan' is a bulbous perennial to 12cm with narrow, grey-green leaves. It reliably produces two flowers per bulb giving it a long flowering period in spring
G. reginae-olgae supsp. reginae-olgae is a small bulbous perennial producing white flowers with green markings in autumn, just as the 10cm-long leaves are starting to emerge
G. nivalis is a perennial to 15cm, with narrow, grey-green leaves and solitary, nodding, fragrant white flowers 2.5cm in length, the inner segments marked with green at the tip
'Mrs MacNamara' is a bulbous perennial with grey-green leaves and slender, white flowers appearing in mid-winter on stems around 25cm tall. The inner petals have a single, small, green, inverted V
'Godfrey Owen' is a bulbous perennial with grey-green leaves and white flowers on stems around 20cm tall. It has 6, pure white, symmetrical outer petals which open to give a wide, lamp-shade-like form over 6 inner petals, each of which bears a green apical mark that divides across the petal tip
