Autumn Blaze is a fast-growing large tree with a dense oval head and deeply cut foliage, turning bright orange-red in autumn
Red Sunset is an upright tree with three-lobed leaves and excellent orange-red autumn colour
A. pycnanthum is a deciduous tree to around 20m tall forming a rounded crown when mature. Shallowly-lobed leaves emerge bronze-green in the spring and turn shades of orange, yellow, red and purple in the autumn; the undersides of the leaves have a whitish bloom. Small clusters of red flowers are borne on the bare branches in spring and followed by reddish winged fruits in the summer
A. rubrum is a round-headed tree growing up to 30m tall. In spring, tiny red flowers are borne in erect clusters before the appearance of dark green leaves with whitish undersides. The leaves turn bright red in autumn
'October Glory' is a large deciduous tree with erect main branches. Leaves 3-lobed, dark green above, whitish beneath, brilliant crimson in autumn. Flowers crimson on bare branches. Excellent selection of the red maple
'Scanlon' is a medium-sized, upright, broadly columnar tree to around 20m tall with lobed dark green foliage that turns bright red in autumn. Clusters of small, red flowers are borne on the bare branches in spring
'Rubrum' is a medium-sized deciduous tree with a spreading crown of 5-lobed leaves, bright crimson when young, later green, yellow in autumn. Flowers yellow
