    AGM plants have been through a rigorous trial and assessment programme. They are:

    • Excellent for ordinary use in appropriate conditions
    • Available to buy
    • Of good constitution
    • Essentially stable in form & colour
    • Reasonably resistant to pests & diseases

Horticulturist (Level II)

I joined the RHS in January 2015 and am a horticulturist within the Trials Team at Wisley. The trials I have responsibility for in 2015 are clematis, alliums, erythroniums, Dutch Iris and Brussels sprouts. Prior to joining the RHS I was employed as a horticulturist with Hampshire County Council.
