Harrogate Tipple, the home of premium alcoholic beverages, offers handcrafted drinks made from locally sourced ingredients
Based in the historic grounds of the Ripley Castle Estate, North Yorkshire, Harrogate Tipple is a family-run, small-batch distillery of premium alcoholic beverages. Each drink produced is made with true passion and the family strives to keep every ingredient as local as possible. Many of their botanicals are grown in the 750-year-old gardens within the castle walls at Ripley.
Its award-winning drinks are expertly created by Master Distiller, Tom Nichol, whose 42 years of experience in the gin industry enables him to handcraft every drink he produces with extreme care and detail. The new range of RHS drinks is no exception and was conceived following a workshop between Harrogate Tipple and the RHS.
Partnering with the RHS, Harrogate Tipple has created three distinctive alcoholic drinks. A delicious honey-based rum, a botanically delightful gin and a stunning blended whisky, each made using 100% Harrogate Spring Water.
The three drinks in the collection include:
RHS Rum: Made from locally sourced Yorkshire blossom honey and 100% Harrogate Spring Water, which create a unique base for this delicious rum, there are notes of cherry, vanilla and smoked oak that give a touch of class and distinction. Serve neat or over ice to indulge in the flavour, or as a great pairing to hot chocolate.
RHS Gin: The perfect recipe of the finest, fresh botanicals, handpicked from the 750-year-old gardens at Ripley Castle. Made with 100% Harrogate Spring Water from the heart of North Yorkshire. Fresh lavender blended with citrus notes from pink grapefruit and orange peel beautifully accentuates the flavour. A distinct yet classic taste best enjoyed with your favourite tonic.
RHS Whisky: An expertly crafted whisky made from some of the finest malts and grains grown in the UK. Made with 100% Harrogate Spring Water, giving a smooth, rich taste with reassuring depth and warmth. A masterfully blended spirit served best neat or over ice to appreciate the full-bodied flavour.
The Harrogate Tipple RHS Rum, RHS Gin and RHS Whisky are available from most spirit retailers, garden centres and independent wine stores. They are sold via the Harrogate Tipple website and at RHS Garden Centres.
