Floral designer and British Flower ambassador Jonathan Moseley goes on tour to fly the flag for British-grown cut flowers

Floral designer Jonathan Moseley will be pulling out all the stops when he brings his British Flower Bus to RHS Flower Shows over the summer.
 
Jonathan is the Floral Expert on the BBC’s Big Allotment Challenge, and works with the RHS on designing large-scale floral instillations at many of its major shows.
 
The British Flower Bus is part of a a nationwide campaign, led by Jonathan, to promote commercial British Flower growing and highlight the all-year-round availability of British-grown flowers.


Jonathan is working with industry specialists FlorismartUK to launch a three-year project with a major industry and retail campaign to establish wide-scale seasonal growing of cut flowers in Britain and an educational campaign to raise both professional and consumer awareness of the British cut flower industry.
 
The British Flower Bus is appearing at a number of RHS shows, and Jonathan will demonstrate floral designs while visitors will get hands-on creating fabulous British floral displays with seasonal favourites such as scabious, cornflowers, nigella and sweet peas.

Jonathan will bring large-scale floral installations to both RHS Flower Show Chatsworth and the RHS Malvern Spring Festival.
 
At Chatsworth from 6-10 June, he is staging one of the biggest-ever displays of orchids with more than 4,000 plants. “Sparking waterfalls, textured mosses, exotic bromeliads and a variety of exotic seed heads and branches will result in a dazzling display of Orchids all housed in a replica of Paxton’s Great Pavilion at this year’s show as well as a spectacular installation at RHS Malvern 10-13 May in collaboration with Morgan Cars and Royal Worcester Porcelain.
