This interactive installation is inspired by a painting from the 18th-century picturesque landscape movement. A traditional gilt frame, 3–4m (9–12ft) in length gives visitors a selected landscape view of the park, as if they’re looking into a painting. But the image within the frame isn’t quite as expected – the visitor is met with sub-tropical and tropical planting in the foreground, with exotic animal sculptures in the middle distance. This fun and intriguing installation makes a wonderful photo opportunity for visitors.
