Did you know...

  • Circles throughout the garden represent the inclusivity of nature and rhythm of the changing seasons.
  • The garden connects you with nature - wildlife planting is a feature through the garden with plantains rising through ragged robin, dotted with ox-eye daisies.
  • The planting has been taken right up and under the native hedge making this garden appear that it has actually been picked up and relocated to Chatsworth from its native habitat.
  • Grass paths make this a garden that you can walk through - there is no hard landscaping to spoil the feel of magic and imagination.
  • A feature sculpture at the end of the garden draws you through from one end to another - its open circle, inviting you to look deeper and contemplate.

About the Garden

"A Belmond garden is a playground for nature, and for you, our guests."
The Belmond Enchanted Gardens are places with soul, where time stands still, beautifully designed to create a sense of adventure, reflection and celebration – where naturalistic planting, trees and hedgerows give way to a purposeful, productive space planted with herbs, vegetables of provenance, and flowers for cutting. A garden with a poetic staircase to take guests wherever their imagination desires; an authentic place to stir the senses and feel immersed in each traveller’s tale, or to simply sit and feel inspired by the Belmond Enchanted Gardens.
