Keeping it Under My Hat

This tiny but perfect English garden consists of  topiary, roses and perennials set around a very intimate seating area. But curiously this garden is concealed beneath a 4m (13ft)-wide bowler hat, which lifts hydraulically every few minutes to allow the visitor to view the planting. Keeping It Under My Hat is intended to be an entertaining space that makes the visitor smile as they catch a fleeting glimpse of such a tiny garden, which they can see but cannot access. It is a very polite and well-brought-up garden that tips its hat to greet its visitors.
