The Floral Marquee was bigger and better than ever at the 2019 Chatsworth Flower Show and was the perfect place to buy plants and seek advice for growing beautiful blooms.
Bluebell Arboretum - Winner of Best Exhibit
For shrubby plants and trees Bluebell Arboretum was the stand to visit. There were three stunning selections of Cornus kousa; 'China Girl' with its cream flowerheads; showy pink 'Miss Satomi' and variegated 'Peve Foggy'. Visitors also saw Crinodendron hookerianum with its red lantern-like blooms.
Eagle Sweet Peas - Gold medal

A specialist in one of the nation's favourite garden flowers, Eagle Sweet Peas' striking display showcased huge bouquets of sweet peas in a rainbow of colours. Visitors headed to this stand for expert advice on bringing summer colour to the garden.
Harveys Garden Plants - Gold medal
Harveys Garden Plants gave a fond farewell to RHS shows at Chatsworth in 2019 with a final exhibit. Owner Roger Harvey's stand featured an enchanting mix of woodland plants such as Podophyllum pleianthum and scented Maianthemum henryi and sun lovers including Eryngium x zabellii 'Big Blue'.
Stonebarn Landscapes - Gold medal
Stonebarn Landscapes displayed an exciting range of summer flowering perennials, including dahlias such as vibrant D. Happy Days Red Yellow planted with bronze Carex. Elsewhere magenta Dahlia' Chatsworth Spendour' mingled with soft pink delphinium 'Cinderella' beside the bold leaves of Fatsia japonica 'Spider's Web'.
Harts Nursery - Gold medal

Visitors that walked by the Harts Nursery exhibit will have noticed an unmistakeable aroma of lilies rising up from the display. With blooms in an array of different colours, this impressive tower of flowers was sure to make guests pause.
Every Picture Tells a Story - Gold medal
Visitors were transported to the humid tropics with an exotic display from Every Picture Tells a Story. This lush and green display featured an array of bromeliads, airplants and tropical plants. Guests headed here for advice on growing specialist plants and bringing a little bit of the jungle to the home.
Morton Nurseries - Gold medal
Morton Nursery had a varied stand including many choice shrubs and perennnials. These included wonderful Zenobia pulverulenta with white bell shaped flowers and glaucous foliage beside Calycanthus 'Venus' a plant with impressive maroon-centered white blooms.
Kevock Garden Plants - Gold medal
Kevock Garden Plants specialise in alpines and their display featured many colourful plants. One wonderful combination saw various blue and mauve Meconopsis mingling with strawberry coloured Digitalis x mertonensis, orange candelabra primulas and arresting tangerine flowered Lilium x dalhansonii 'Terrace City Group'.
