BBC/RHS People's Choice Award
BBC / RHS People's Choice Award results are now out. See which Show, Fresh and Artisan Gardens raised eyebrows this year

Congratulations go to Hope on the Horizon (above), The Mind's Eye and Tour de Yorkshire, the three gardens at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2014 that won the BBC / RHS People's Choice Award. The public voted in their thousands for the award that gives recognition to the public's favourite gardens.
Hope on the Horizon won the heart of the public this year, scooping the BBC / RHS People's Choice Award for the Show Garden category. Designer Matt Keightley designed a beautiful contemplative garden representing the road to recovery experienced by injured servicemen and women. Granite blocks, soft planting and an avenue of stately hornbeams come together to create both and a beautiful and evocative garden.
Fresh Garden The Mind's Eye was designed for the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB). Tactile, fragrant grasses and perennials are used to engage the senses touch, smell and sound while a water feature in the form of a central transparent cube gives a sense of calm and tranquillity.
Tour de Yorkshire won the BBC / RHS People's Choice in the Artisan Garden category, with its beautiful elliptical pond and dry-stone walls reminiscent of Yorkshire. The garden pays homage to this year's Tour de France which for its first time starts in Yorkshire.
