The Chelsea Experience
Taking its place on the Monument in the heart of the Great Pavilion, the bespoke show feature was a hub of knowledge from beginner to expert

The RHS stand in the centre of the Great Pavilion was a hive of activity at the 2017 show. Fascinating displays from specialist nurseries were awarded RHS Master Grower status together with a selection of competition finalists. Breathtaking images from the RHS Photographic Competition 2017 Portfolio category finalists were new to the show in 2017, plus our team of expert advisors were on hand to offer advice about gardening at home.
What was it all about?
The Experience brought the outside in and the inside out - demonstrating that plants and gardening are everywhere. The stand took people on a journey through many gardening aspects, and with advisors on hand, even complete novices could feel at home.
What to see
The main walkway to the exhibit welcomed people into the world of health and wellbeing with gardening products and Plant of the Year finalists. They were introduced to wildlife gardening with wildlife-themed products such as bug hotels, along with Product of the Year finalists and the Plant of the Year winner.
A 'grow your own' themed area at the RHS Gardening Advice Service stand enabled visitors to take a stroll through the urban themed photography portfolio and Master Grower sections - and looking up they could see the fabulous green wall and roof planting ideas.
Discover more around the show
Visitors were encouraged to take their time and explore the delights of the Great Pavilion, before taking a leisurely walk around the range of Show, Fresh and Artisan Gardens.
