M&G and the RHS renew their partnership
M&G Investments continues its support of the RHS partnership by sponsoring the RHS Chelsea Flower Show for three more years
As a sign of its confidence in the partnership, M&G Investments will continue to be the official sponsor of the world-famous RHS Chelsea Flower Show for the next three years (2018 to 2020), and will also be supporting the RHS’ Greening Grey Britain campaign to transform grey spaces into planted up green places.
Anne Richards, Chief Executive of M&G, says: 'There is no better fit for M&G in the UK - we quickly came to the conclusion that there was little out there to compare with our excellent partnership with the RHS.'
Over the past eight years, M&G has built a very close relationship with the RHS, and their common values have enhanced the partnership.
M&G are particularly excited about the RHS Greening Grey Britain Campaign, understanding that gardening really can transform lives and bring communities together. The investment company will also give its staff the opportunity to volunteer their services.
Sue Biggs, RHS Director General, says: 'The fact that M&G is renewing its sponsorship of RHS Chelsea Flower Show after an eight-year sponsorship run reflects the outstanding relationship we have with the company, and the excellent opportunities that the show offers.'
M&G has been the official sponsor of the Chelsea Flower Show since 2010, and each year has also sponsored a show garden, winning six Gold medals and scooping Best Show Garden for its 2017 design by James Basson.
