RSPB: Giving Nature a Home

Show Features

Wildflower meadow meets woodland and wetland in this celebration of the great outdoors. Here you’ll find a garden full of hidey holes for nature; you can hunt for willow dragonflies and butterflies, climb through a secret tunnel into the woods, find a perch in the stumpery and spot the places where hedgehogs, bugs and birds may find a home.
Built to celebrate RSPB Cymru’s flagship project, Giving Nature a Home in Cardiff, delivered in partnership with the City of Cardiff Council, the garden aims to engage children with nature and mark the launch of an exciting new Nature Detectives group for young people in Cardiff. Led by RSPB Cymru and the City of Cardiff Council, the group will encourage and enable more young people in the city to spend more time outdoors enjoying nature.
