Under the microscope

Show Features

Everyone is invited into our world where, under the microscope, pollen grains and moss capsules are as big as footballs. So tiny, these are all around us and yet they’re not seen. Giant diatoms (single-celled algae) inhabit ponds but are they plants or animals? What do they tell us about climate change?

This interactive and informative exhibit aims to inspire people to get outside and really explore our world.
