The family-run, Cornish nursery is a regualr exhibitor at RHS Cardiff Flower Show, and is delighting the crowds again with a dazzling daffodil display, and staff are on hand to offer advice and tips to visitors to their medal-winning stand.

Ron Scamp says that “this year has had an excellent start with the very mild weather over the winter, resulting in the daffodils coming into bloom earlier.

He also remarked that the flower colours seemed to be even more intense this year, making the display a must-see attraction. One of his newer Narcissus introductions, Capability Brown, has been named after the pioneering landscape gardener Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown, to celebrate his tercentenary. This particular cultivar is a bright white flower with slightly reflexed petals surrounding a yellow, red-edged trumpet.

Displayed in green vases against a dark baize background and bordered with contrasting laurel, visitors have remarked that its simplicity is what makes the exhibit even more delightful, as the flowers are left to shine on their own.
