Catch of the day: Schools' Wheelbarrows Competition

With a 'Year of the Sea' theme, pupils portrayed tales of sea-faring adventures, shipwrecks and monsters of the deep

The Schools' Wheelbarrows Competition was as popular as ever, and young gardeners from the area did a brilliant job of presenting the sea-faring theme in colourful wheelbarrow designs.

Visitors voted for their favourite entry at the show:

First prize - Coed Glas Primary School
Second prize - Christ the King Catholic Primary School
Third prize - Moorland Primary School
