Highlights of the 2014 RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show

Hot off the press, hear about the exciting highlights from the 2014 show!

E No. 123 - GluttonyTthe 2014 show had some exciting new features across the three zones of Inspire, Escape and Grow, as well as regular favourites making a return to the show.  Highlights included:

  • The Conceptual Gardens were themed around the seven deadly sins, with one garden representing each sin.  This theme inspired some dramatic and provocative designs!
  • A central wildlife feature included a native butterfly house
  • The RHS staged a new Talks Theatre with talks on a wide range of gardening topics
  • Writhlington School created a stunning and educational orchid display themed around a project they are undertaking in Sikkim, India
  • Your Garden, Your Budget (in association with the APL) showed gardens that included practical solutions to the kind of design problems faced by home gardeners and at a range of budgets
