Show receives international tourism award
The RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show has been awarded the title of Garden Event of the Year by the International Garden Tourism Network.
Richard Benfield, president of the International Garden Tourism Network, said: 'Horticultural events are a major part of garden tourism, exposing people to ideas, education and excellence. For the past 25 years, RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show has consistently exhibited all of the three characteristics to make it now one of the flagship events in the world with a strong tourism draw.'
