Best dressed window competition
The winners of the annual Bridge Road competition
Fabulous displays are not just found within the showground at the RHS Hampton Court Flower Show as each year, shops and businesses, along nearby Bridge Road, enter into the spirit of the Show with a Best Dressed Window competition.
This year, the theme was celebrating the Queen’s 90th birthday. The designs used photography, red, white and blue theming and of course lots of plants and flowers.
If you missed it this year make sure you take a trip down there next year on your way to the Show.
Best Dressed Window: Le Petit Nantais
The judges loved the design from Le Petit Nantais (which also won in 2014), which focused on British eccentricities and the British sense of humour. The plants used were also very good quality.
Innovation Award: Joulberry
The judges loved how the shop incorporated its product into this window design. It was very well thought out and the plants were top quality.
Mezzet, Mezzet Dar, Le Petit Nantais and Joulberry.
Henry’s Kitchen, Honeysuckle Rose, The Vine King, Ellu Amor, The Prince of Wales, Creative Quilting, The Albion, O'Keefe, Buba.
The Albion pub also got involved on site at the Show and created a Flower Box.
RHS Judges assessed the designs and attended the Award Ceremony, with Lucinda Costello handing out the certificates to all who entered and the winner’s trophy.
