A banquet designed with nature in mind that is true to its roots

After six years working in Michelin-starred restaurants in Switzerland, France and Belgium, Merlin Labron-Johnson returned to the UK to open Portland. Nine months later, he was awarded a Michelin star at just twenty-four years old.
 

Merlin’s Wild Garden Banquet consists of a bespoke five-course menu and an immersive foraging experience where guests will be guided through a wild garden of sorrel, rowan berries, hen of the wood mushrooms, elderberries, flowers and wild garlic with a forager host.

Here you’ll discover how Michelin-starred chef, Merlin Labron-Johnson, has incorporated these seasonal gems into his cooking – and how they can be used at home to make old favourites like jams, soups, cordials, liqueurs and dressings.

Ticket price also includes a glass of champagne or sparkling wine on arrival.

Please note that seating will be shared on a long table and the foraging workshop will take place at the start.
