A contemporary garden for a young professional couple, ‘Red Rhythm’ was designed for relaxation and entertaining during the summer months.
Strong clean shapes defined the framework of the garden. The landscape materials and planting choices were deliberately selected to create dramatic contrast. The large paved space provided an entertaining area, with tall red pillars set into red-themed herbaceous planting. A seating area consisted of dark-stained decking housing bamboo canes while a still water feature added a reflective quality.
Large red-tipped photinias line the side of the garden alongside shade-loving plants such as ferns and astilbes.
