Share Russell's enthusiasm and knowledge for winter planting schemes in this guided walk of the old Winter Garden and RHS Harlow Carr's more contemporary Winter Walk. The session will focus on plants used specifically to create an interesting winter garden, regardless of garden size. Discover vivid colour, intoxicating scents, interesting forms and textures, months of continuous flowers and even temperature related colour changing effects. You will find out about the myths of removing the foliage on hellebores and how to extend the season into spring by the careful selection of early flowering spring bulbs.
