Discover the diverse range of flowers that look and taste good on the plate. The day will begin with a look at different garden flowers from nasturtiums to saffron crocus and artichokes to lavender. You will learn how to grow, pick and prepare them and take part in a seed sowing practical. Both sweet and savoury and hot and cold recipe ideas will be presented to the class. Finally a cookery demonstration will allow you to sample some simple but tasty dishes made with edible flowers.
