Tutor: Nigel Pinhorn We will focus on the identification of bird species through plumage, song, calls and behaviour as well as folklore, habitat preferences, the history of ornithology, the great bird studies and current avian literature. There will be opportunities for photography. Hand outs accompanying the course will include species profiles, recommended societies, groups, books and websites. The three days can be attended separately, or altogether as a course.
