The Vegetable Garden in Summer

It's not too late to get some vegetables growing for abundant crops this autumn and winter. This course will focus on vegetables that can be grown in summer months and how to sow and plant them. Harvesting, using and storing crops from spring sowings will also be explained. A range of practical techniques will be covered including seed sowing, successional sowing and planting out techniques. This is a practical day and attendees will have the chance to practise skills they are shown, so please come prepared with suitable footwear, clothing and gardening gloves.
