Branching out into our first ever lates event we invite you to join us after hours to celebrate all that's green in our great city. Inspired by our exhibition 'The City Gardener' and the RHS Greening Grey Britain campaign, we are hosting a late night opening with a range of activities on the theme of urban gardening.

Additional info

Advance booking is now closed, tickets will be available on the door.
All tickets can be exchanged for your first drink free on arrival.

- Find inspiration to get outdoors as special guest Jack Cooke, author of The Tree Climber's Guide describes how he defied both gravity and social convention to find a green haven amongst the leafy canopy of London's treetops.
- Create beautiful origami flowers with Papershake from designs based on the plants recommended in 'The City Gardener' and add your creations to our botanical origami installation to see it transform throughout the evening.
- Learn about the important benefits of urban gardening with a late night viewing of 'The City Gardener' exhibition where we present Thomas Fairchild's theories from nearly 300 years ago alongside the latest research from the RHS Wisley Science team.
- Start your own urban gardening adventure with a chance to see our wide selection of urban gardening titles available from our public lending library and pick up tips from our horticultural advisory team.
